Philippians 3:13-21

(Philippians 3:13-21)

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus

Paul tells us to forget the things of the past. Because our old man died with Jesus. So, those who are born again are born from heaven with new life. It is that the body is the same, but the inside is changed to another. However, the memories of the past are stored in the body as it is and keeps rising. So, Paul is saying to forget all the memories of the past.

In Galatians 3:28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. In Jesus, the Greeks, Romans, Jews, free men, servants, men, women are all the same. Paul says he only runs to the cross of Jesus Christ. There is nothing to boast but the cross of Jesus Christ. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ.) In Acts 26:18, the Apostle Paul is spoken.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. This is what Jesus said directly to the Apostle Paul. This content is divided into four stages. First, from darkness to light, second from Satan's power to God, and third, forgiveness, and finally, inheritance.

It is to think of the salvation that the apostle Paul received as a sample. However, he sheds tears saying that many people are acting as enemies of the cross of Christ. Jesus said, "Everyone who does not abide by my words is a child of the devil." They said they believed in Jesus, and they became people who wanted to kill Jesus. People who say they believe in Jesus, love the world, and don't believe God's word, "Everyone who believes in the son has taken away all the world's sins," and continues to forgive him for forgiveness. They are those who did not die with Jesus. Salvation begins with the release of Satan's power. To do this, we must die on the cross with Jesus.

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Faith comes from heaven. If faith does not come from heaven, you will still be trapped under the law. John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. .

Those born of God have citizenship in heaven. Those who have a relationship with Jesus must have a body of spirit, not blood and flesh. It has nothing to do with Jesus unless we are born again as spirit bodies. Therefore, those who have a spirit body live according to the Holy Spirit. It is led by the Holy Spirit.

Those who live in the body of fresh are applied by the law, but those who live by the Spirit are subject to the law of the Holy Spirit. Those who are subject to the law cannot escape the net of the law, but those who are subject to the Holy Spirit are free.

What is at the center of our lives? Money and honor and power or Jesus? Jesus told the Jews, "Deny yourself and take up your cross to follow me." The flesh we live in will someday burn out and disappear. However, the spirit body does not disappear forever. The cross is a door that denies the body of fresh and is reborn as a body of spirit. Those who do not enter this door cannot be saved from God. So there is no salvation except Jesus' cross.

Many people say that there is any religion or salvation, but if it is not a cross, it will be a burning faith. Because man is under God's wrath. If you don't know this, no matter how hard you try, it's just a waste. Why is man under God's wrath? In the Bible, God said, "Human thought is evil from a young age." This is because there is greed in humans. That greed is a desire to be like God. That is why the greed dies on the cross and is reborn as a spiritless body.
