Philippians 1:1-6

(Philippians 1:1-6) 『 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: 』 The Apostle Paul spoke to the Saints in Philippi Church, saying that from the first day, they have fellowship with them in the gospel. He is convinced that God will accomplish from the moment of fellowship in the gospel to the day of judgment. So in 2:12-13, 『 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 』 There are two conditions for salvation. In Acts 20:21, 『 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. In Mark 1:15, 『 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 』 However, today, we see that most of the faith in salvation is only faith. So, if repentance is missing from saying, ...

Philippians 1:7-11

(Philippians 1:7-11) Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.   In the letters written by the apostle Paul, he wrote, "I, the apostle of God through Jesus Christ, and I am the apostle of God...", revealed how he was given the apostleship, and then continued with text and counsel. However, Philippians alone did not. This is because Philippi Church has never had any negative or unbelief against the apostle Paul. In Acts 1...

Philippians 1:12-30

(Philippians 1:12-30) But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;   So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;   And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.   Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:   The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:   But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.   What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.   For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be a...

Philippians 2:1-5

(Philippians 2:1-5) If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,   Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:   The heart of Christ Jesus is to have one heart, to be faithful, not to quarrel or vanity, to humble oneself, to take care of the work of others to fill my joy. 『 Holding one heart 』 means that the heart between saints will be one. The reason Jesus came to this world also died in the ransom for reconciliation between God and sinners. In Matthew 18:15-20 『 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he...

Philippians 2:6-8

(Philippians 2:6-8) 『 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 』 Jesus Christ is God in the kingdom of God. We cannot see God. When a sinner sees God, he dies. Because humans are guilty. Although we cannot see the sun directly with our eyes, the Lord has come in the flesh as we can see wearing sunglasses. We can see the Lord in the flesh because of the flesh. Humans cannot see God unless the Lord comes in the flesh.   The Lord is the body and image of God. We may or may not stand before the Lord who saves Lazarus. Right now, in front of the storm of life, the Lord can reveal, "Yeah, I can solve the storm." "I want you to repent and obey with all your heart through this storm." However, there ...

Philippians 2:9-11

(Philippians 2:9-11) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:   That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;   And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. The church is likened to the body of Christ. The church is the fullness of the One who fills all things in all things. Is the church full today? This is not to say that the church is going to be like this, but that the original church has already become this way. If the church does not do that, however, it is not submitting to the Lord, the head of the church. So, all humans are dead in transgression and sin. Even in a church building, if a believer dies in transgression and sin, he cannot be saved as a child of wrath. He has never repented. Even if he repented, he repented on his own standards. Hebrews 2:8 『 Thou hast put all things in...

Philippians 2:12-14-18

(Philippians 2:12-14) 『 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.   Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 』 Here is what they face each other. From God's point of view 『 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure 』 , From the believer's point of view 『 work out your own salvation with fear and trembling 』 . Today, many churches do not say this "two-way word," and say, "If you have faith, everyone is saved." The Bible says that healing is also salvation. However, the Bible said, "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." What the Bible says and what people say to believe are different. However, people say, "All are saved by faith." We must escape the false salvation in this c...
